This upper shock tower bearing/ strut mount is located at the top of the shock. We recommend inspecting or replacing these while replacing the front shocks.

Any change of your M3 struts and shocks should include new mounts. Installing new bushings and mounts is very easy when changing the shocks - there's no additional time or no special tools required! Koni's Special Active dampers adapt to the continuous imperfect road conditions in order to provide you with a more responsive and smoother ride. Thanks to multiple generations of suspension expertise, these shocks and struts rival expensive ride control systems of newer vehicles but at a cost that is significantly lower and a capability to be retrofitted into existing vehicles.
Designed by Koni for the vehicle's original stock ride height, these are not intended to be used with lowering springs and will perform best when paired with stock springs.
