If you have an M3 engine and want to use the 21.5 lb/hr injectors (pink top, stock on the 2.8 M52 and 3.2 S52) we have the perfect chip for you. Instead of changing to the smaller 17lb injectors or upgrading to the full 24lb, you can use the injectors from the stock 3.2 M3. They are in-between 17lb and 24lb, allowing a little more fuel to compensate for intake and/or exhaust upgrades.Perfect for running headers with an intake! There are plenty of surplus 21.5lb injectors out there (we sometimes have them too, check out Used Parts section).
It's usually not necessary to use bigger injectors but this gives you another option in your engine planning. This software covers almost all of the popular bolt-on upgrades, including the larger HFM (Euro or 540). The E36 M3 benefits greatly from a TMS Performance Chip. Although premium fuel is recommended by BMW, the car is not optimized for it. Significant horsepower and torque gains can be had by switching to a Turner Chip and using 91+ octane fuel. Tuned specially for the E36 M3 on the dyno with Bosch expert Jim Conforti, this chip provides a smooth power delivery from low RPM up all the way up to redline. The M52/S52 performance software was developed on the dyno to create maximum power and torque using premium 91+ octane fuel while maintaining BMW reliability and smoothness. We modify the maps for part throttle and full throttle so you get better response and more torque at all RPM. We also raise the rev limit to 7,000 and remove the top speed limiter. By fine tuning these maps we've been able to improve the S52 engine beyond what BMW did by making more power and torque and a smoother-running engine.
The programming for EWS delete will allow you to use a spare ECU to run the engine. If your original ECU fails, and you find yourself buying a used ECU, you won't have to tow the car to the dealer to have the ECU synced to the car's EWS system. This is also the perfect software solution if you installed an S52 engine in your E36 323/328 - just plug in the M3 ECU and flash with this Shark Injector. This Stage 1 file will bypass the EWS code and give you all of the benefits of our Stage 1 tune.
The Shark Injector plugs into the diagnostic port under the hood of the E36. With the battery charger supplying power, press the Upgrade button and within minutes the ECU is reflashed with the new performance tune. No other software product on the market comes close to how easy it is to install. You can use the Restore button to re-install the stock BMW software at any time. Detailed instructions are included. Stage 3 Performance Software for E36 M3, MZ3 (HFM/Cam Kit) (stock S52 manifold)
Conforti Shark Injector performance software tuned for our Stage 3 OBD2 package: Schrick camshafts, "24lb" injectors, Porsche 3.5" HFM, and intake. This software is tuned around the stock S52 intake manifold. For keeping the most useable torque we recommend using the stock manifold over the M50 part.
With this software you will notice more top end power, a broader torque band, and a smoother running engine. The rev limit is raised to 7000 RPM with the top speed limiter removed. Works with 91 or higher octane fuel.
Required:
"24lb" injectors (actually around 26lb injectors when used at the S52's 3.5 bar of fuel pressure). You must confirm the injector flow-rate at 3.5 bar before using this software. If the injectors were not purchased from us, we may as for the Bosch part number on your injectors.

You may be able to upgrade the Shark Injector file to another version to better meet your tuning needs. Depending on the model we may have better tunes for things such as intakes, larger air sensors, camshafts, headers, and others. For a small fee the current Shark Injector tune can be removed and a new file added instead (the original Shark file you were using would no longer be available). To do this, we need the car restored to stock settings with the current Shark Injector and then returned to us (updating via USB is not yet available). Sharks that were not Restored to stock cannot be upgraded and the unit will be returned to you (at your expense). We also perform other work on the Shark Injector while it is here, including diagnostic tests and re-packaging with the most current instructions. The Shark that you get back is virtually new and ready to be reinstalled!

Stage 2 Performance Software for E36 M3, MZ3 (Turner-Porsche 3.5" HFM, larger injectors)
Conforti Shark Injector performance software tuned for our Stage 2 OBD2 package: larger fuel injectors, Porsche 3.5" HFM, and intake. This is the correct software to use with the desireable Porsche 803/809 HFM on the OBD2 E36 M3. You should not be running a larger HFM without software and injectors - you're in danger of running too lean! On the dyno we found that the stock fuel injectors were not capable of providing enough fuel to keep up with the increased airflow. This "leaner" fuel mixture was dangerous as it could lead to hotter combustion temps and burning or melting of critical components. With the correct HFM, larger injectors, and this software you will be back to running correct air-fuel ratios.

Stage 4+ Performance Software for E36 M3, MZ3 (M50 Manifold + Cams + Headers Kit)
Conforti Shark Injector performance software tuned for the an awesome OBD2 package: M50 manifold, Schrick camshafts, performance headers, "24lb" injectors, Porsche 809 3.5" HFM, and intake. This software makes full use of the benefits of the M50 manifold when used with cams and the HFM/intake. Without the software, you're not getting the full effect of these upgrades in the upper rev range. The stock software -- or a regular Shark Injector -- is tuned for low-end torque using the stock manifold and cams. It's like a marathon runner in a 40-yard dash -- he'll put in a good effort but won't be the quickest! Special attention was paid to the low-end andmid-range too so that torque was not lost with the M50 manifold.
With this software you will notice more top end power, a broader torque band, and a smoother running engine. The rev limit is raised to 7000 RPM with the top speed limiter removed. Works with 91 or higher octane fuel.
Required:
"24lb" injectors (actually around 26lb injectors when used at the S52's 3.5 bar of fuel pressure). You must confirm the injector flow-rate at 3.5 bar before using this software. If the injectors were not purchased from us, we may as for the Bosch part number on your injectors.
Porsche 809 3.5" HFM (0 280 217 809) (TMS/Porsche HFM works best) with intake. Note: this will not work with a Euro HFM, 540 HFM, or Dinan HFM. Our software is programmed and written specifically for the Porsche 809 HFM! If you did not purchase the HFM Kit from us, we may ask you for the Bosch part number from your HFM.

A capable battery charger is required for the installation. The charger provides backup power supply to the regular car battery during installation. It must be capable of holding a continuous 10amp charge for the full installation (15-20 minutes).
The minimum octane fuel for this software is 91.
