Easily the single best way to improve the feel of your interior is to replace the factory seats with something new and improved. Factory seats were designed to accommodate a vast array of driver sizes and preferences. As such, they tend to be comfortable and fairly unsupportive during spirited driving. While it is true that M models generally come with some of the nicest seats available to man, the same is not true of the rest of the fleet.

Not only do they sport a classic shape and design that fits into almost any chassis, but they also have plenty of bolstering should the need arise for extra lateral support. Ease of access is important on a street driven vehicle and although the bolstering is enough to keep you in place, it is not high enough to be a hindrance on a daily basis. Integrated lumbar support is yet another nod to the useability of these seats and it means that long trips won't be such a pain anymore. Couple these features with a fully adjustable TILT headrest and your back will be in for a treat every time you sit behind the wheel. 

Speaking of backs, this ones adjusts manually. A simple handle for seatback release and tilt adjustment keeps the affair simple and lightweight. Typically these seats mount to manual adjustment sliders, however; it may be possible to adapt these to existing power seat rails.
