Like many factory BMW cooling systems, it relies on molded plastic end tanks that are notorious for cracking and leaking over time. Additionally, its single-row, 34mm-thick core offers poor cooling capacity for high-horsepower or track-driven cars.
To address these shortcomings, ECS developed the ultimate cooling solution for the G2X B58 platform—a High-Performance Aluminum Radiator designed, engineered, and tested by their in-house BMW specialists. Built to handle the increased thermal demands of high-horsepower builds and extended track sessions, this radiator delivers both unmatched durability and significantly improved heat dissipation.
Each unit features fully TIG-welded 6061-T6 aluminum end tanks, eliminating the weak points found in the OE design. Precision CNC-machined hose connections, flanges, and mounting brackets ensure a perfect drop-in fit with factory hoses, the fan shroud, and auxiliary components. No modifications required — just direct performance.
