Installing a lighter hood on your BMW does two things. First. It looks aggressive, because it's usually made from carbon fiber. Second, it reduces weight from the nose of your vehicle. Who doesn't want to lose weight?
In honor of Vorsteiner's 20th anniversary, the company has reimagined the V-CSL Carbon Fiber Program for the BMW E46 M3 with a modernized design. The new V20 program features dual acorn-shaped snorkels seamlessly integrated into the front bumper, complemented by a redesigned one-piece front spoiler. The double-sided carbon fiber hood is designed with raised vents on both sides to enhance heat extraction from the engine bay. Additionally, the rear diffuser now incorporates dual diffuser elements, further optimizing airflow. Limited to just 103 units, the V20 pays homage to the exceptional horsepower per liter of the BMW E46 CSL. Below is an overview of the V-CSL components, each expertly crafted using Vorsteiner's 1X1 weaved pre-preg autoclaved carbon fiber and produced at the company’s California facility.
