Full carbon fiber intake to increase flow, performance and aesthetics! Dual inlet design for maximized air flow while retaining the OEM+ fitment.
The most common N55 intake utilizes a short plastic tube and oversized cone filter; it is your job to have better taste than the common N55 owner. This carbon intake changes the whole image of the N55 engine while maintaining a flow of cool air and added induction noise. With a dual inlet design the engine bay retains its functionality while adding a second inlet to provide your engine with improved air flow and sound. To ensure the engine gets the coolest air possible the second inlet is located in the "sweet spot" on the cold side of the engine for the lowest intake air temps and most air flow possible. The cone filter features a bellmouth velocity stack filter that creates the satisfying flutter after letting of the throttle.
Our Turner Carbon Fiber Intakes start with a 3D scan of the factory intake and engine bay. Engineers use the 3D imaging of the chassis to design the intake in SolidWorks modeling software. Using a Flow Bench, the Intake is then airflow tested against the factory intake, to ensure optimal airflow improvement against stock. The final product is a beautiful and functional Carbon Fiber Intake, CAD designed for perfect integration with the OEM inlet ducting and stock mounting locations and proven to flow better than factory.

Carbon inlet tube featuring a smoother interior without corrugations for a smooth flow path.
Integrated carbon flange allows secure mounting of the tube to the carbon air boxes.
Intake tube is manufactured using 2x2 twill weave carbon fiber for a great look in the engine bay.
Gloss finish clear coat for UV protection.
4-ply reinforced silicone coupler and 6061-T6 black anodized aluminum flange that utilizes the factory o-ring and retaining clip.

Nothing but the highest level of precision and quality through leading-edge product development technology including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer and rigorous long term product testing. Performance data metrics are collected utilizing Mustang AWD 500 SE in ground dyno and in-house Superflow SF-750 Flowbench.

Our Stage 1 kit featuring a cold-air intake kit and matching performance software. The aFe intake is a cone filter with a heat-blocking shield around it. The larger surface area of the filter, combined with the heat shield, allow more cool air to enter the engine - creating more power and torque, a richer engine sound, and better throttle response. The kit is supplied complete with heat shield, intake tube, sealing materials, hardware, and install instructions.
Our flash software is tuned especially for a cold-air intake, maximizing the potential and providing smoother power delivery. We take the stock software and make adjustments for 91 octane (stock software is set around 87). We can get more power and torque, and increase fuel efficiency without affecting driveability or the life of the engine. The throttle response is also improved (quicker) eliminating unwanted and dangerous flat spots in the pedal response.
Our software fully maximizes the 'high-output' N52B30O0 engine in the 330i. Our software has been carefully developed on the dyno and the road to provide optimal power and torque gains at all RPM. We change the fuel, Valvetronic, and VANOS maps as well as revise the factory torque limiters. We have paid particular attention to increasing low and mid-range torque. The stock BMW software is hampered by settings for 87 octane fuel. By re-mapping the engine programming for 91 octane, we can make more power, torque, and improve fuel mileage - all without harm to the engine or affecting driveability. The throttle response is also improved (quicker) eliminating unwanted and dangerous flat spots in the pedal response.
There are two ways to install our software: mailing the ECU to us for a reflash or do-it-yourself install with our Turner Flash tool:
Mail-In Reflash - lower upfront cost but additional shipping charges. Minimum downtime of at least three days. We have a 24 hour turnaround on shipping the ECU back to you but factor in transit time. Expert installation of your software at our facility.
Turner Flash DIY tool - higher upfront cost but files are emailed back and forth. No downtime - you can still drive the car while we process your tune. Files are emailed back and forth - your stock file comes to us, a tuned file is returned to you. Easy install via Windows laptop.

For a 335i race or competition car, the exhaust is an important area for upgrades. Removing the catalytic converters eliminates a choke point in the exhaust system and will free up power and torque. It also eliminates the cats as a potential failure point - a broken up cat can clog the exhaust and severly damage your motor. These cat-less DP from CP-E are some of the best we have seen. They are made from 304 stainless steel mandrel-bent piping. The flow characteristics of the piping was especially important to maximize the efficiency of the turbos. With less restriction the turbos work more efficiently and last longer.
In this package we also address the shortcomings in the factory intercooler setup. With higher boost comes more heat in the intake air and the factory intercooler does a poor job of cooling that air before it enters the engine. In the Stage 2+ package we offer multiple intercooler upgrades in increasing levels of capacity - Wagner Evo I or Wagner Evo II FMIC. Each is a significant upgrade over the stock 335i FMIC. The Wagner Evo I is our standard FMIC upgrade and fits with the stock piping and requires no modification for fitment. The Wagner Evo II has greater cooling capacity and silicone piping to the stock intake. Some minor modification to plastic trim pieces is required for installation.
The aFe Dual Cone intake and Cobb Accessport programmer complete the Stage 2+ package. The larger surface area of the aFe cone filters allows more air to enter the engine - creating more power and torque, a richer engine sound, and better throttle response. The kit is supplied complete with aFe Pro5R filters, mounting shield, intake tubes, sealing materials, hardware, and install instructions. The torque increase and sound from the open intake from low-mid RPM is sensational.
The Cobb software tool puts multiple tuning stages in the palm of your hand. Our Stage 2+ package lines up with the Cobb Stage 2+ tuning maps for an intake and DP (91 or 93+ octane fuel). Simply download the Stage 2+ race map from the Cobb website, plug it in, and install. Select different maps for other upgrades, throttle settings, octane ratings, valet mode, or revert back to stock! If you're moving among Stages simply download a new file from the Cobb website and update your AccessPort programmer! The AccessPort triples as a diagnostic tester/reader and a data logger. It's the most feature-packed programmer on the market today.
* Note that peak power gains are quoted remain the same as Stage 2 but the cooler intake air means there is less of a chance the engine computer will cut power from heatsoak. Adding a full exhaust (from the DP) will make this a Stage 3 kit in the Cobb tuning catalog.
This part alters or deletes the emissions equipment on your car. Because of this, we require a waiver of emissions compliance to be signed and either e-mailed or faxed to Turner Motorsport before shipping. You can download the waiver here.
