The OEM thin cast aluminum cross member has been known to fail in multiple different ways. When using stiff engine and transmission mounts, the cross member can crack out and break around these mounting points. The cross member can also break from the high amounts of load transferred through the drive train. While chassis flex from hard cornering is being applied through the engine and transmission from the front cross member, this load is sent from the transmission back into the chassis at the transmission cross member. This is simply too much stress for the OEM cross member to hold up to under the extreme punishment of road racing. The AAF E46 Transmission Cross Member is completely constructed of 1/4' thick heavy-duty aluminum plate. It is designed specifically to cope with hours of endurance racing.

AAF Racing have been building race cars for more than 8 years and have been installing all types and brands of after market shifters. Using all of that knowledge, AAF has incorporated all of this into their new innovative design. AAF's BMW Race Shifter with Adjustable Shift Shaft has a very wide array of available adjustments allowing you the ability to tune it exactly to your liking. If you want to change something about the way it works, most likely there is an adjustment for it! Adjustable Features: Throw Ratio: The knob height must remain at the same height and position for obvious ergonomic reasons. This means in order to incorporate a throw ratio adjustment WITHOUT changing the position of the knob or the pivot point, the location of the shift shaft connection must move closer or farther from the pivot point. This is done in the lower section of the shift lever. Adjustable Shift Shaft Included: Included is the AAF Adjustable Shift Shaft as they believe this allows for optimal shifting. With an adjustable shift shaft, you are able to move the shift knob forwards or backwards, as well as left or right (closer or farther from the steering wheel). You can make all these changes without affecting the spring position of 3rd and 4th gears. The shift shaft has an adjustment range from 165mm to 245mm. Knob Height: The AAF Race Shifter is capable of a total knob height change of 50mm while still having 3 different options for throw ratio. There are two knob spacers included, a 25mm and 50mm. This allows you to thread the knob down tight and lock it into place. Spring Center: Coupled with the AAF Adjustable Shift Shaft, the position of where your AAF Shifter springs to center is totally adjustable. There are two screws per center locator that can be used when setting your center position, then the upper cap will be locked down to ensure your center preference position never moves out of adjustment. Spring Pressure: One of the most unique features of the AAF Race Shifter is the centering spring mechanism. Unlike most shifters that use a typical steel spring, the AAF Race Shifter uses a polyurethane spring. This polyurethane spring absorbs shock and vibration load that a typical steel spring would magnify and resonate. This gives the AAF Race Shifter a connected feel to the transmission that is unmatched. It features two polyurethane springs. This allows the adjustment of the centering location of each spring independently which gets rid of any slack but also allows for preloading of the spring. AAF also offers multiple different spring rates of polyurethane which are preloaded in house. Mounting and Installation: AAF's Race Shifter is centered directly over the factory shifter hole. AAF is proud to introduce their redesigned AAF E46 M3 Brake Cooling Duct Kit! Features: Extremely Light Weight â€“ Less than 4 lbs in total! Ultra-High Airflow Inlets Tight Turning Radius Easy and Quick To Install Inexpensive to Buy and Maintain Durable for Racing Conditions Designed strong and lightweight these brake duct inlets include a massive 4' inlet. Ultimately this aids in providing higher airspeed and pressure to the brake rotor and thus better brake cooling. Inlets are manufactured by AAF in-house with a 3D printer to provide a strong and inexpensive part. Brake duct tubes included in this kit are made from lightweight and strong ABS plastic. Shaped for optimized airflow, these tubes also provide the ability for a tight turning radius even with large racing tires. Per AAF: for a SPEC E46 with the spec 255 Toyo tire, you can turn 1.5 turns from straight without hitting the tubes, which is more than enough for driving around the paddock. The tubes taper down to a 3' flex hose, to remain legal for SE46. Included in the kit are AAF's Brake Backing Plates as well. Ideal for the SE46 racing series, the AAF E46 6-speed Transmission Crossmember is a heavy-duty and worthwhile upgrade. The OEM thin cast aluminum cross member has been known to fail in multiple different ways. When using stiff engine and transmission mounts, the cross member can crack out and break around these mounting points. The cross member can also break from the high amounts of load transferred through the drive train. While chassis flex from hard cornering is being applied through the engine and transmission from the front cross member, this load is sent from the transmission back into the chassis at the transmission cross member. This is simply too much stress for the OEM cross member to hold up to under the extreme punishment of road racing. The AAF E46 Transmission Cross Member is completely constructed of 1/4' thick heavy-duty aluminum plate. It is designed specifically to cope with hours of endurance racing.

In race car applications, the desired camber and caster settings can cause the strut tops and shock adjusters to interfere with the factory jump post. This kit takes just a few minutes to install and makes using strut braces and adjusting camber plates just that much safer and faster.

AAF Racing have been building race cars for more than 8 years and have been installing all types and brands of after market shifters. Using all of that knowledge, AAF has incorporated all of this into their new innovative design. AAF's BMW Race Shifter with Adjustable Shift Shaft has a very wide array of available adjustments allowing you the ability to tune it exactly to your liking. If you want to change something about the way it works, most likely there is an adjustment for it! Adjustable Features: Throw Ratio: The knob height must remain at the same height and position for obvious ergonomic reasons. This means in order to incorporate a throw ratio adjustment WITHOUT changing the position of the knob or the pivot point, the location of the shift shaft connection must move closer or farther from the pivot point. This is done in the lower section of the shift lever. Adjustable Shift Shaft Included: Included is the AAF Adjustable Shift Shaft as they believe this allows for optimal shifting. With an adjustable shift shaft, you are able to move the shift knob forwards or backwards, as well as left or right (closer or farther from the steering wheel). You can make all these changes without affecting the spring position of 3rd and 4th gears. The shift shaft has an adjustment range from 165mm to 245mm. Knob Height: The AAF Race Shifter is capable of a total knob height change of 50mm while still having 3 different options for throw ratio. There are two knob spacers included, a 25mm and 50mm. This allows you to thread the knob down tight and lock it into place. Spring Center: Coupled with the AAF Adjustable Shift Shaft, the position of where your AAF Shifter springs to center is totally adjustable. There are two screws per center locator that can be used when setting your center position, then the upper cap will be locked down to ensure your center preference position never moves out of adjustment. Spring Pressure: One of the most unique features of the AAF Race Shifter is the centering spring mechanism. Unlike most shifters that use a typical steel spring, the AAF Race Shifter uses a polyurethane spring. This polyurethane spring absorbs shock and vibration load that a typical steel spring would magnify and resonate. This gives the AAF Race Shifter a connected feel to the transmission that is unmatched. It features two polyurethane springs. This allows the adjustment of the centering location of each spring independently which gets rid of any slack but also allows for preloading of the spring. AAF also offers multiple different spring rates of polyurethane which are preloaded in house. Mounting and Installation: AAF's Race Shifter is centered directly over the factory shifter hole. This allows it to be to be installed in many BMW applications. All other information and installation details available on AAF's website!

Under racing and track conditions, oil can move in the oil pan enough to cause extended moments of oil starvation. This can cause premature, and in some cases immediate, engine failure. The pan features a tight fit to keep oil from exiting under braking or cornering. A must have for all track cars.
